What this site is
PayClear UK provides calculators and general explainers about UK pay, tax and deductions. It is not an accountancy firm, tax adviser or financial adviser, and nothing on the site is personal advice.
Estimates only
Every result is an estimate based on the figures you enter and the published rates for the tax year you select. Your actual position depends on your full circumstances, your tax code and your employer's payroll. Always check your payslip, your HMRC account or a qualified adviser before acting.

We take care to keep rates and thresholds current and we publish our assumptions and sources. We cannot guarantee the site is free of errors or that it reflects a change in the rules immediately after it is announced.
